Ryan is a Principal and co-founder of VerteX who has over 14 years of experience in the construction industry and structural engineering services. He is known for his personal client service and his creative and unique approach to structural designs. He is currently registered in Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, and Utah. Ryan received his Bachelor Degree from North Carolina State University.

Samuel A. Burchard, P.E., S.E.
Principal
An extensive variety of structural design experience has given Sam the tools to make him a vital member of any design team. His thirteen years of engineering experience involves projects ranging from hospitals and exclusive golf clubhouses, to the renovation of 70-year-old buildings for new uses. He has a Bachelors Degree in Engineering from Arizona State University and is registered for practice in Arizona, California, and Nevada. Sam co-founded VerteX and is a Principal in the company.

Jason Hawkins
Systems Manager
Jason is the Systems Manager at VerteX. He possesses a strong background in AutoCAD, which enables him to lead the drafting department in the generation of drawings containing a high level of quality and accuracy. Coupling this with his strengths in scheduling and file management, he helps to ensure client satisfaction.

Krista Young
Accounts / Business Manager
Krista joined the VerteX team in 2010 as the accounts and business manager. By being a sole proprietor herself, and involved in the architecture industry for over 12 years, Krista has a good understanding of the day to day operations of a firm such as VerteX. This experience also allows her to anticipate client needs from a business management standpoint.

Edward Panzera
Special Inspections
Edward (Eddie) possesses over 30 years of experience in performing field inspections. He spent 20 years as an inspector for Maricopa County, and has been performing Special Structural Inpsections for the last 13+ years of his career. His vast experience and knowlege make Eddie a valuable asset on any job site and as a part of the VerteX team.
